I am not very happy that bought this leaking car and whether I call it pool, puddle or as you put it wet, it all means the same. A very poor design or execution in the assembly process. There should have been a recall of these to fix this huge problem. (Rant over)
The one out of my car is # 193 820 01 26 which does not have the Mercedes logo on it and the one listed on ebay for the 2004 Mercedes SLK 320 / 32AMG is # 170 820 19 26 which does have the Mercedes logo on it.
Just an update that I forgot to mention earlier, Mopar has changed the number of this part from 193 820 01 26 and now lists it as 5102558AA.
All the trouble I have had with this car leaves me with regret for buying it but I am stuck now and have to make the best of it. I really do appreciate all the help that I have found on this forum.
