Right on, not a #27 or a #25
only a #30. Anything else and you are in trouble as the smaller sizes ruin the socket edges in the screw head.
Use of a Phillips screwdriver is also a no go. If you used a Phillips then maybe a Torx may still fit, try the 30 first then the next smallest one.
The screws are not that tight and maybe able to be removed using something that jams in the socket of the screw. Someone did just that some years ago and succeeded, maybe they can add the solution. Someone from Murf I think.
