I have a new Kenwood HU with 5V pre-outs. I currently have this wired with a standard wiring harness as supplied by Crutchfield to only the front HU outputs. After I make this change and separate the Front and Rear channels I assume the volume should be louder than it is now. Because I won't be sharing the front output anymore to drive all the speakers. Is that correct, will I have a louder system? I hope so, it could use a little more volume. Even if not, I'll probably still do the change to get the advantage of crossover control.
