Hi, this is a work in progress. There is so much great info on this forum , but sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you want . I'm trying to put together a checklist of sorts to help narrow down starting problems and possible solutions. This is what I have so far, any additions or corrections would be appreciated.



CRANKS, NO START
check RCM soldier points and relays and fuses
check spark at plugs
check fuel pressure
no pressure , replace fuel pump
low pressure, rplace fuel filter
replace crankshaft sensor
replace camshaft sensor

SPOILER GOES UP ON AND OTHER STRANGE ELECTRICAL ISSUES
check battery voltage, should be 12.33v or higher
check battery ground cable and connection
check RCM soldier points and relays and fuses

CRANKS A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEN WON'T CRANK
possible skreem issue
disconnect battery, reconnect , retry start
check wire from ring around ignition to skreem
reset skreem .turn key with battery disconnected to drain capacitors. Then connect battery, turn key to on position for several minutes, things reprogramming themselves, then turn key off for one minute. retry start

STARTER FAILS TO OPERATE
battery discharged or faulty.
check pulse module. pulse module is located inside the underhood fuse panel, turning the ignition key to 'start' tells it to engage the starter solenoid
check RCM soldier points and relays and fuses
starter solenoid faulty.
starter motor faulty.
starting circuit wiring faulty.
ignition switch faulty.
park/neutral position switch faulty or misadjusted.

STARTS, RUNS A FEW MINUTES THEN DIES
check RCM
check fuel pump
check fuel filter
