If your head unit supports it, you could also have separate equalizer controls for front and back, which is what I really want.
I would think because I provide 4 separate inputs to the amp, instead of the 2 inputs I currently provide that the volume would be increased. My thought is that because the input signal isn't split between front and rear amp channels it should be stronger for each input. Not that the amp output is changed, only the input supplied to the amp.
And I do have a lot of equalizer control in the HU so that is a bonus.
