They did the soaking with detergent. The problem was the Ridge of the tire would not close enough on the rim to allow the seal so they could pump air into it. They mounted, unmounted, used lots of tools to try and get the lip of the tire to seat into the rim so they could inflate. It just looks like the RF are too rigid at that size.
