Chrysler has not been known for Quality, but I have been a Chrysler Fan. Love the Designs. Have a 98 T&C Van, 01 PT Crusier Lmtd, and now the X-fire. I haven't had any problems with any ex routine maint. And, Oh Yea - several recalls for "O" rings on the fuel system, tires, Fuel Filler pipe. Hope the X-fire doesn't have these problems, but I like the car so much I'll put up with any that come along. Especially if they a covered by the warranty and the car is not in the shop too long. My son has a 2002 Passat, V6 Turbo. Real lemon, been in the shop 20 times. Turbo replaced twice, transmission once. I told him to turn it in under the Lemon Law but he likes the care and let the problem go too long. In Florida if a car is in the shop 30 days or more you can ask for your money back or a new car. My sons Passat qualified, but he decided to keep it. It's been OK over the past year or so.
