Default Re: Injector Cleaner

Look at your owners manual. It gives the maintenance schedule. Follow that and your good to go. However having said that our cars are 10+ years old and even if you haven't reached a hundred thousand miles it would be a good idea to change the plugs and wires, run a strong Techron Complete Fuel additive through your system after installing a new fuel filter. Do the Techron Complete a couple times a year. Be sure the oil filter gets changed (use the recommended fleece filter) NOT a paper filter with each oil change and the air intake filters under the hood. When was the last cabin air filter change? 17 mpg is a little low, but depends a lot on how you drive. I can easily get 28 when driving the freeways on long trips, but city driving pulls that way down. "tuneups" per say are obsolete. Follow the maintenance schedule. Good idea to get an "oil catch can" installed if you haven't one. Needswings sells a good one. easy to install and helps to keep your intake clean.
