Default Re: 2004 Cossfire starts, but won't go past 2000 rpm

Thank you so much for reply,
I'm an old retired navy guy, and we bought this car cheap for my sons first car, he wanted it, it wasn't running, gut told us it ran good, and stopped starting one day, nice car, bought for it a thousand dollars, hope it was BS me, but
Mileage is one hundred and 50
Same plugs that were in it
Premium gas
Automatic
No sure on history,
We replac d the crank sensor, cam sensor, and re soldered spot on RCM, did notice first relay on RCM had burn spots on contact, we, cleaned and light filed them back Into flat surface, very little came off, I think this really is the air controller, if not mistaken, it also looks form my view, like there is a new transmission installed, because it's clean, no road film on outside housing,
So I must say, cool looking car, and my teenager is excited, but I'm at a stand still..
