Interesting read - ta!

I've never really agreed with some of the motoring press on these tbh.
For example, they always state the interior is cheap and plasticky. I just don't see it.
I think it's quite solid and well screwed together. The silver areas actually wear very well. I bought mine with about 83k and the inside looked like it's never been sat in. All the silver, so called cheap areas were spotless with no wear marks / scratches whatsoever.

They are quiet (when driven sedately) comfy, go like stink when you need it and grip like glue. I've had mine for circa 3 months and have yet to see another - it always gets glances and several times I got asked questions about it. It's rare and a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing in some ways. The looks are very unique....

Truth be known, I could easily go and buy something newer tmrw with a comfy budget of maybe £20k. Thing is, I don't want to - I love this thing and at this time can't see myself driving anything else. Yes, they have their issues and niggles, but doesn't any car?

I'm seriously thinking about buying another one simply as a "spare".
You can pick up very tidy ones for £3000
They are as rare as rocking horse poop over here.
