I hear ya, and thanks for the reality check. I too had a first yr car before (Lexus IS300) in 01 when they first came out. I was lucky because I did not one thing go wrong (besides them replacing the tires due to a recall--which was great because it was time for news ones :lol: ).

It's really more of just the inconvienence because the dealer is 45 minutes away (one way in traffic) and a pain with my travel/work schedule to have to go in everytime something happens (I PRAY this will be the only thing, at least for this year )

The feeling I get driving it around though, will certainly help me over come my fear of quality issues.

I'll let everyone know what the dealer says Monday--going in at 7AM (hope they can get it out same day!)
