SC doesn't require front plates either, and I hope they keep it that way. State even did away with annual inspections years ago because they recognized what a "rip-off" they were becoming. However, you should see what is driving around once in awhile down here!!! Cops can still pull you over & issue a citation for having a car with major issues.
