CD slot makes a nice place for a mag mount for my phone & one phone serves all cars and my trailer (also has Bluetooth).
Yes it can be done, as a couple of double din threads on here.
If you have sat nav, I guess that's good. If not, No cell service and then no navigation. That's why I still maintain a garmin in my car.
I've seen a couple of single din popouts will all the bells and whistles for about $250. I'll see if I can find a link. One of our members installed it last summer and I saw it at Carlisle. Nice unit.
