Re: what kind of work do you do?
61 - work in the energy production field for an independent power producer. Bought the car as my gift to me for my 60th birthday. Drive it everyday, and cannot tell you the number of comments that I get about how beautiful the car is. I love to drive it at the max speed in the desert here in Nevada. I have had it at 157 and it never shook, moaned or did anything but hug the road and run like the wind. My wife has driven it at 130 on the interstate in the early morning hours. The people who talk about the coupe being "shoddy" in it's performance probably have never driven the coupe to find out what they are missing. Roadsters have too much wind flapping noise at high speed, and you don't want to drive over the century mark with the top down.
I was looking in this month's issue on Mens Journal at the classic cars that they listed as being stylish. I owned a Corvette C1 - 1958, an Austin Healy 3000 1961, a 1963 Jaguar Roadster, and the MG'A'. They can't carry water to the Crossfire.
