Radley, post 4 makes sense. Yes you can get your car started and running just fine, IF you only change the ignition switch. Be sure to read the link provided by Zeracer in post 5. " Sticky Ignition Key Fix" You will have to exchange the tumblers in your current switch into your new switch so your key will work. If you must use a new key try to sychronize/program it first. If that doesn't work then check with Needswings for a new key. It will be best if you can use the key you now have !
