For anyone else looking to take the rear speakers out. Here's a youtube video on the process.

I made the mistake of buying foam speaker seals. Rubber ones would probably be a lot more durable. I don't think I would recommend foam ones in a car. The ones in this video look a lot more durable as they are rubber. Buy rubber ones!
