As I said in my thread, I did follow the video. I did exactly what was shown.....not easy. It may be that the steering column isn't moved all the way inward as my steering lock mechanism isn't working. Now that I think about it, it may have taken around 10 minutes, or even less. Just nerve racking thinking it was about to break. Is there a source for these backings?
I have a tutorial in here somewhere you might want to do a search and let it give you some ideas? I got mine done for about 65 bucks, and reinstalled it myself. Ask your local car dealerships who does their interior work, might save you a lot of $. That was years ago and it is still up and tight. Good luck!
