Actually my Jeep (Pentastar V-6 very similar to MB M272) has a rep for breaking the plastic piece inside the cap when changing the filter. Just wanted to know if this was the same.
I have a PentaStar in my 200. The filter stem is quite different and with only one O-ring.
Breakage...entirely possible on any of these.
