The stock pads do a fantastic job of stopping the car. But because the pad material is so soft you don't get the feel in the pedal that you do with a harder pad. Also with the soft pads I had noticed, on more than one occasion, that when pulling to a slow stop it would pull one way or the other. Not dramatically... Just enough that it was noticeable.

If you can live with all that nasty black dust, the stock pads are fine. My fun meter was way past pegged, when it came to cleaning the wheels every other day.
