Re: Airbag light
Download the Service Manual. Wiring diagrams are there. The Air Bag light is latched on until reset. If reset and then comes back on, good chance the wiring and/or connectors are broken.
A DRB scan tool is very helpful in chasing these problems (I've had the experience with my restored SRT). Can be very frustrating. An airbag simulator is also very helpful as you can plug it into the various connectors to isolate the problem. This can tell you which air bag is giving the problem.
I use an MBII scan tool and a cheap airbag simulator that I got on EBay at very reasonable price. About $140 for the MBII and less than $5 for the simulator.
Good luck.
BTW disconnect the negative battery cable before disconnecting or reconnecting the module. Suggest you disconnect the connector at the offending module and use the simulator to trace the problem, leaving the air bag module disconnected as you proceeed.
