The ONLY vacuum in that area is on the roadsters and it goes to the console lid lock. nothing to do with the shifter.
I own the 2006 roadster. Is there any reason why the mechanic keeps mentioning that that I need a "vacuum lock?"
Forgive my ignorance but what is the console lid lock and what function does it serve?
