Thank you to everyone who has replied, I decided to just purchase the entire assembly from RockAuto. I also am looking into buying a new set of rims for my Crossfire since these originals are pretty beaten up

I went with esr sr08 18x8.5 & 19x10.5 and aftermarket external tpms and a display on the dash.
You should be fine changing steering assembly, I sure there are you tube videos on working on are slk
