The "containers" are not sealed. On the bottom of the cover (pull it up and out of the engine compartment) you will see several screws. Remove the screws and you will see the filters that are replaced. You will also see a large round hole in the center rear of the cover. That is where the engine vacuum sucks the air after it has passed through the filters.
