The V8 engine is the 5.5 AMG supercharged motor form a 2005 SL55 ( 42000 miles on it) with 485 hp from the factory,,(at the flywheel ) this is the same engine that is in my car,,,, a tune, exhaust, intake, & pulleys make it about 585hp. my car with a little more done is 625 at the rear wheels.
