i apologize for using your space to get some info on my 2004 coupe, but i seen you talking about serial numbers, so i figured to ask anyway. i recently had work done on my xfire, to make a long story short, i suposedly had a used transmission installed mine was slipping, somewhat, i weas told i needed a new one..i get vthe car back, its still slips, here and there, and, well my question is, is my vin #, on the engine, and the transmission, and the # on my dash, would be all matching, coming from the factory, right? pleaqse help me, i need to know where the vin # is located on my trans. if it doesnt match up with the other #s on motor, then he probably installed a different one. but it feels like they just changed the fluid, cuz it still acting like the old one.. any advice or suggestions, for me..? a premature thanx to anyone that can help......charles921545 bummed out in chino hills, ca..
