And yes it's not cheap.
one thing I don't like about eom driveshaft is the non rebuildable center u joint.
yes you can get just the carrier bearing and can change it out yourself.

I have my 2 piece driveshaft sitting in my shop from changing out to a single piece aluminum driveshaft, if you want I can take some pics of it split to show the bearing.

no, a new 2 piece shaft is expensive.
Since I made my adapter plates, I have 1/4 the price of a oem shaft and did a single piece aluminum driveshaft with 1310 clip in u joints.
