The radio is removed with a small tool that slips in each side of the radio. How and what tool depends on the radio.
With the radio out you can see two screws which were hidden by the radio on the top face of the radio pocket. remove them and gently pry out the face plate with a plastic trim tool. There are two clips along the top one left and one right and one each side just above the bottom for a total of four clips.
