When you start the car, it will run rough with little or no throttle response. When this is going on it is over fueling the system if it had a carburetor it is as if the choke is full on. When scanning the engine the oxygen sensors are seeing the fuel load and sending the information to the ECM it is trying to handle this. We have yet to see a check engine light and to date no codes have been set. This is interment unexpectedly it will do the choke out with no check engine light. Everyone is starting to think the ECM is the problem I have been told when it does choke out you can see the readings on more than on sensor show unexpected reading. One other thing it started doing is if it dies when choking out the engine it will not crank first few tries. If anyone has any ideas on this symptom or has experienced a similar problem let me know what your symptoms were and the needed repair. The shop is now saying take it home and see how it runs out, riding on the back of a tow truck is a bad day.

Thanks in advance for any help
Steve
I had similar symptoms when the fuel pump only could manage less than 10 psi in another car I owned. When the car warmed up it ran better but not as good as it should have, a new fuel pump did the trick.
