The weird sound you are hearing is probably your alarm battery going ! Mine did the same thing , acid eats away at alarm & their batteries . Alarm is in front of windshield under wipers area . I had to buy new alarm , you just can’t replace batteries ! With new alarm now I have chirp when setting alarm .
