Been using them for years myself, but its surprising how many people don't know.

actually wound up getting my first purchase free. bought a steering column for a pick up I had with a bad shift tube. wound up the one I purchased had a bad airbag sensor, bad headlight switch, wire to the overdrive button was cut, and I think it was the cruise control switch that was bad as well.
Emailed the owner of the yard. told him I thought his price was a bit high for what amounted to a bare column. He simply asked for my address, and mailed me a check.
