Thanks for the info on the seal, mine was dry rotted and cracked. I order and replaced it. I did help some but did not resolve the problem.
I am having a problem with the car stumbling and running rough at low idle and hitting the gas pedal at any RPM under 1500, Above 1500 the rev is strong and solid. At low idle, take off and stop signs the car almost stalls and stumbles
Parts I have changed so far
6 New coil packs
12 New spark plug wires - check and recheck all are tight
12 new iridium spark plugs
New MAF sensor (replaced 2 times)
New Cam shaft position sensor
New Crank shaft position sensor
New Relay Control Module
New Computer and programming
New seal on engine cover to MAF sensor
All new vacuum lines
New EGR valve
New fuel injectors
New TMP sensor
New Air filters
New oil change / filter
Removed entire exhaust, check for plugs and reinstalled
Checked for air leaks with WD40 and brake cleaner, no air leaks
Tested fuel rail pressure Constant 52-55 PSI even at REVs

I am not sure what else I should be looking for. Any thoughts? My next plan is to change the fuel filter and fuel pump. Maybe the pump is getting weak or the filter is plugged. Its hasn't been changed since I owned it. Does anyone have any other suggestions. This one is driving me insane. Im not sure if changing the filter or pump will help as the pressure is constant, but not sure what to do....Hair is falling out faster now
