Default Pontiac Solstice Convertible Top Autopsy

So before buying my first Crossfire I looked at a couple other convertibles. One I looked at was the Pontiac Solstice. I liked the car but one deal breaker for me was not having any trunk. Having the day off from work, and watching some car shows, I decided to check out the Solstice owners forum to read owner comments to see how that car was aging. The first post I saw was a member showing through pictures how the convertible top was taken off the frame.

Just like this forum it's great to see how members share "how to" items with others. I replaced the top on a 93 Mustang that I used to own and it was a similar experience with the staples, rivets, and some gluing. With the Solstice it appears more involved with a lot more gluing. From what I've seen with the Crossfire top it's easier with no gluing or staples.
