Re: strange doings yesterday - help please
i also read that it is affected by heat, but i live in south florida. it's tropical and always hot. i had the engine running for less than 7 minutes as i had only gone about 3 or 4 blocks away from my office, when it died. i don't think i was stuck for much more than 10 minutes if that before it started. i would think if anything it would have been hotter absorbing the engine heat while i was dead in the water. once it started, i had an almost 50 minute high speed commute to my neighborhood gas station, and i would think that as i refueled the engine had plenty of time to heat soak, (just like it would have when it died) but the car started right up and i drove the 10 minutes to my home without issues.
