Default Re: How many Crossfire owners feel their driving a Mercedes-Benz

Well Merc does make the world's best taxicabs.

Having both: '07 Crossfire Coupe with 6 speed and '01 SLK320 automagic can say that neither seat goes back quite far enough and both take an inordinate amount of Mobil 1 on an oil change. Also have electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (instead of electric locks it has pneumatic locks which require an electrical pump and rigid lines to actuate). Both have 160 mph speedos (I liked the 85 mph speedos. Below they were easy to read and above I was watching the tach. Neither has a tilt wheel.

Coupe seems faster even though the six speed is really a granny first and a conventional five speed. Do like the Merc's retractable and the coupe's luggage space so a trade. Neither gets very good MPG probably because turning 600 rpm high at 70 in top. Neither gives me much trouble or has failed to start.

For a trip I take the Jeep.
