Yes, the steering wheel still locks after the fix.
Both symptoms can be true, can't turn key or can't remove key.
I did the fix about 4 years ago, and mine will still hang on the wheel lock at times requiring me to release the wheel pressure. I consider this normal.
ok thanks for clearing that up for me. I suppose I’ll still pull mine apart one day to have a look but it sounds as if mine is working as it should....for now.
