It has been mentioned on this forum that the cheap Chinese windshields suffer from distortion, and the Pilkington OEM parts are the best by far. I guess you pay your money and take your choice.
Any chips should be repaired ASAP or sooner�� to prevent the chip from developing into a crack, the glass is under tension and naturally cracks at the weakest point.
