I agree.

The switch almost feels like it's a little loose on mine...like it might be able to be slipped out of a slot. I just can't get to it when the top is all the way up or when the top is at the initial unlocked position off of the windshield.

Is the switch normally closed when the top is all the way up and that spring bar holds the little button down? It seems like since the switch is fairly sealed, it's just a matter of getter that little button to pop back out when the spring tension on it is released. Maybe one drop of WD-40 on the little button would do it?
