Yep. They are truly gone. I "ordered" one from three different MB on-line sources. All three came back within a day later saying the order was cancelled due to it being a discontinued part.

Probably the only way to get a NEW one would be to find a dealer that happened to have one in stock at the time. eBay is always an option for used, or contact the SLK boards for somebody with a takeoff unit.
