The downside, the SC pulley is much easier to change as with the 178 I had to use an air impact wrench to take mine off, they say you can do it manually with a breaker bar but I gave up on that idea 5 mins into trying. Hit it with my cheap craftmans air impact and this special 28mm impact socket and it came off in 1 min.
Thanks for the great input Philosophico! May I ask if any of the 65mm pulleys that failed were from Eurocharged?
