(Don't tell my wife I wrote this)...
Nissan Xterra started to balk going into gear. It got to the point where it would take 2 or 3 minutes of sawing effort to get it in gear. A little 'net research showed that there was a recall out on that problemc to the dealer it went.
Two days later the dealer called to tell it was ready for pickup. While there, the service advisor showed Lora her shifting assembly: It was a mass of dog hair and dried Coke/Pepsi. The whole thing had congealed into a yucky, glue-like mess. The advisor allowed the recall to pay for it, but noted that there was nothing wrong with it, just Lora's drinking habits and the fact that our dog throws fur like a sheep shearer.
