Default Re: SKREEM unit part number

180 - Thanks for the part number. I wanted to let you know, I just looked up "Consumer Protection Agency" and found several blurps on the subject. There is reference to sales receipts, company names, dates of purchase, and so on. My original thought was to find out if we, or anyone, could file a complaint with this agency. We would have to have a company name. From what I read, it seems like most information is geared toward "after purchase" problems. Perhaps you, or someone else, would know who and how to contact to stop this problem now.

There has to be some protection for us against price gouging. I realize that a company can charge what they want and the buyer has the right to refuse to purchase. Still, there has to be some protection against outright price gouging. I know that drug company's have been called on the carpet for 100%, and 200% price increases and have been made to, or shamed into, reducing prices. Seems like that would apply for us as well. If you are aware of any agencies that can protect against this, please let me know. As I see it, we have a stumbling block with out having a company name. This is where I thought Rob at "Needswings" could help us out.

Your thoughts are appreciated, and if we can get this information going on the website, maybe others will have some good input, if enough people see this.

Jim
