If you have left the car over a week, it is possible ( and likely ) that the fuel pressure has bled off.
Try turning the key on and wait 5 seconds, then off.
Immediately go back to on, and wait 5 more seconds, then engage start,
This will get the line pressure back up to 58 PSI for the injectors.
BTW, pumping the pedal on a drive by wire system does absolutely NO good.
