Goes off?? Once it comes on it rarely should shut off unless your out of gear. I did an early video that showed the s/c stayed on after starting and the pump should continue running. I dont see how a LACK of cooling could increase fuel - soot. When the engine sees higher temps it would tend to lean out, rich when cold. Do you have a code reader? Sounds like the O2 sensors are not operating correctly, they are what control fuel flow. Woody
