you bring up a good point, so i just weighted them, both weight 17 lbs ea. now i have to cut one to be sure,, i know the srt 6 axle is solid. because i broke one ,years ago, if the larger one was solid it would have to weight more,than the smaller one. , I think Chrysler put out a bid for axles and the co. got the bid and made solid axles,, then on the next bid the co. that got the bid made the hollow ones ,both the same weight but the hollow one are 44.4% stronger
so yes same weight ,it has to be hollow and also is stronger thanks for your input.
