I originally wanted to keep the working ash tray coin holder, air bag light and lighter. I missed the bin though and that is why I am trying this layout.
It is bit tricky to match the curve of the console to the flat button section, it is OK though with some judicious filing and fitting.
The joint between the this bezel and the gearshift bezel will be straight, which means mods to the gearshift bezel are needed.EditThe rear edge of the skirt between the two bezels is not straight now, I decided to make it follow the profile of the forward end of the gearshift bezel. This means it is a bit higher than the gearshift bezel but this avoids a sharp edge.
