No company in the industrial world would have this switch designed and built for a car. They would find a suitable switch and have a wire attached to it and have their part number moulded into the sides of the body.
look for an off the shelf switch that is identical to this one.
The numbers under the Mercedes part number are the type of plastic the case is made from, it is glass filled nylon 66.
This part will be sitting in a manufacturers catalogue somewhere, find it and be a hero.
Often the makers name and part number appear on the part as well, but I cannot see it in the photo.
These types of part come off the shelf in normally open and normally closed, sometimes the wires are selected for the NO or NC requirement.
