Yes there definitely is a lot of computer software involved in our cars, which is why I'd rather deal with Edelbrock. Since I know they have lot's of resources and funds, and maybe some inside connections too.
I'm not sure they would be serious enough to start testing throttle bodies, maybe in the far future. But Edelbrock would probably start with stuff, like brake lines, shocks, cat back exhaust, and then maybe if there is enough interest in crossfire parts; headers, t-body, hopefully cams, but don't hold your breath, lol...
