In the early/mid 1990s my wife drove a 1987 Renault GTA Convertible. 1987 was the last year of the Renault/AMC linkage. Chrysler bought AMC off Renault that year. By law the dealer had to service the Renault for 7 years and they did including the heater core recall. I swear though, the
DAY that seven years was up they politely told me to kick rocks!
Come to think of it I also remember being dropped by the British Leyland dealer when my Triumph TR8 turned seven! People just don't want me around!
