i am kind of like you....i gave up a performance car (02' M3) for my crossfire. i don't regret it a bit. M3's are a dime a dozen in the suburbs of columbus, ohio. i got sick of seeing myself at least twice a day on the roadways. the crossfire is still a rare car to see in my area..maybe 2 around town so far. the look of the crossfire is very unique...i love it! you will miss the power but it's nice to not feel like you have to drive fast. i have changed the suspension on my crossfire to aid with the change from an M3. i do miss some of the amenities of the bmw...memory seats...tilting side mirror...bi xenon's...supportive seats...a true cup holder :wink:

but once again the crossfire is not a 50k car either....you won't regret the change! the build quality of the crossfire is superior to the sti.
