040 now it's about 020 with shim I replaced supercharger belts bolt belts pull the same boost about 14psi also I have been running DJs belt wrap kit for year no issues til this last 3 weeks
These after market pulleys are not made with decent springs, some are made with non spring material. When the gap decreases after being deflected just .040 initially then it is not a spring. The wrong material being used causes the springs to break and damage parts in the surrounding area unless the guard is used.
